Christmas in July

Our little tree

Our fire place. See the candle?
This week at Fatherheart we have been doing "love dares." A love dare is something we do once a month here at Fatherheart. Each month is based on a different principles in the bible. For example, in the past we have had the power of the tongue, servant hood, and the power of two's. This week we really felt to do it on JOY! Monday we focused on a joyful heart, Tuesday we focused on SERVING with a joyful heart, Wednesday on a joyful tongue, Thursday was a joyful giver and last but not least was Friday and we focused on a joyful worshiper. In which we would celebrate Christmas in JULY
Hannah... Due tomorrow!

As I was on my way to town to purchase Christmas gifts :) I was listening to David Crowder Band "How He Loves Us." Now I have heard that song SO many times and I KNOW the lyrics. But as it was playing my eyes began to water and I heard those lyrics like never before. "He is Jealous for ME!" For me, for you, for the girls here at Fatherheart. The Lord just began to go through each lyric in that song and express to me on how much He loves these Fatherheart girls. And each time a new girl comes into Fatherheart (we got one today) He shakes with JOY because as they enter the gates of Fatherheart, they are entering the Lords garden and seeds are about to be planted!!

So this afternoon as we began our Christmas celebration I was able to share with the girls what the Lord spoke to me this morning. I printed out a copy of the lyrics and went over them. Then we listened to the song. OH HOW HE LOVES US!!! OOO how he loves YOU... He is JEALOUS... His love is like a HURRICANE!!  The girls were really touched. One of the girls even came up to me afterwards and told me that she drew me a picture yesterday and felt she should put scripture on it but she didn't. Then as I was speaking this evening she knew she should of because what I was sharing had to do with the verse God gave her to put on my picture.
GOD IS GOOD and He is moving here at Fatherheart.
I hope this touches your heart as it did mine and thanks so much for investing in the lives here at Fatherheart.
